Hey, look large text. The following story may contain foul language, suggestive themes, and gay stuff.
Hey look, red edit. Just throwing this out there, but if you read this story, please post and review it. You all care about and have conversations in TCC and BW topics, but... It's almost comedic how I have to friggin go Billy Mays on people just so people notice this damn thing.
So, This story takes place a WHILE after Blurred line and the events of SA6...
And I thought I'd give a little backstory before starting it...
So, Jaws appeared in the Tower, owned by Tech, by some concequence of the universe beginning to crumble. So, Tech's all "O shit, I have to go back in time and fuck things up more somehow to prevent this." So he does... and he grabs an assistant to go with him. (Cloak kid, anyone?)
So, Max and Nehmo experiment in a spirit world and find a little village, in which they pull out a unique looking creature that they bring back to the tower and surprise Tech with. So, they call Lukas, Who is a Lucario that they captured from the same area, to teach this thing english telepathically. And OMG ITZ KLONOA. So he says he wants to go home, but he later finds out that all of his friends want to kill him for some reason.
SO, Luke and his GF, who's this hot Female Lucario that owns her own martial arts studio, and M, who's this gay GRAY FOX that they hang out with a lot, They all come up with a solution to move Jaws and Klonoa away from the tower. Results?
This.
Also, I'll be attempting a lot of dry humor and awkward situations throughout the story, mostly after the first few chapters, though.

"You asked Tech if I could live with you?" Was the voice in the excited tone.
"Well, it's a huge house, and he said it has 5 bedrooms or something-"
"YES! I can get out of this hell-hole!"
Who are these two? Well, right now you couldn't really tell, they are not acting their usual selves. But nevertheless, I know who they are, and that's all you need to know for now. Who am I? Me. You might not know who I am, but I know who I am, and that's all your need to know for now. So, hearing this conversation from behind the door, I decided to barge in.
"Pack up," I always speak very brief. That's just the way I do everything. Execution of my duties are always quick... but still painful.
"Tech, you're letting me live with him?" The tuxedo cat in one of the tower's agent uniforms asks.
"He asked," Again, two words. Simple and effective, "There's room."
"My bags are right there," The younger one says, "You said there was... some surprise for us there?"
Ah, a question that requires some more words for an answer, as this one does not settle for a "yes," or a "wait and see." He requires information, which I admire.
So I answer, "Max, Nehmo, and I worked out a little something that you guys might enjoy. You'll see it there, don't worry."
By now, the cat is already in his room stuffing his clothes and things into a suitcase. By his excited hyperactivity, which is a rare side of him, I can tell this won't take long.
And of course it doesn't. About 13.5426 seconds after that last thought, the cat drags a suitcase and a backpack, drops them and takes off his Tower-granted jacket, revealing a grey T-shirt underneath. Of course, the bright blue military-cap looking hat that he's wearing backwards certainly stands out. This has always seemed extremely off the wall to me, and it puzzles me, ever since I first saw that hat, who the hell would make a military cap in bright colors? A baseball cap, I could understand, but this one has the distinct flat top of a military cap... We still haven't used military caps for thousands of years, it's pure pop-fashion.
"Hey, dude, I found another hat of yours," The cat points out sarcastically.
"Um..." Verbal pauses, they annoy me, "I think we should get going soon."
And I agreed. But as we turned for the door, I knew we weren't leaving just yet. Sure enough, I hear quiet, fast footsteps running in this direction. The subject arrived...
"Hey Reeya!" Shouts the young one as the female lucario walks into the room.
"Hey, Klonoa!" She responds. They run at eachother for a hug.
Reeya had always been like a close relative of the boy, always a sympathetic soul and a guiding voice for the time he had been here. But their bond wasn't like family, it wasn't like friendship either. From their emotional mindset, the only way I can describe their feelings toward each other would be "casual love." This would mean that they do feel the emotional bond known as "love," but they do not take it seriously, and mostly conceal it, although they both are aware of it's presence in one another.
But to put it simply, He's 12, she's 17, they know they shouldn't be together.
Have you noticed I sound like a robot? Well, if that's what you've thought so far, you're wrong. I'm more advanced. My name is Myles Prometheus Owwer, if you don't know who I am, you don't live here.
But should I continue relaying their conversation? All of that above only took about 1.243 seconds to think... onward.
"I wanted to go with you to see where you're going to be living!" She spoke in an excited voice, "You know, so I know where to go when I want to visit you."
"Tech says there's going to be just a few other people living there too," Klonoa mentioned to her, "So we'll have to meet them."
"What kind of people, Tech?" She turns to me...
"I haven't been to the house, myself. I haven't met them," I have never, in the history of my existence, answered such a question with "I don't know." This, also, is a way of dodging telling a lie.
Beyond that, no further questions. Reeya came with us to the new home. Conveniently, it was near her hometown, and she had been in the area before, but this specific house was special. This specific house remained undamaged through over a hundred years of re-forestation projects, and now sat right in the middle of a large forest, with a path leading into the city. We opted to take an off-road car onto the long trail, with plans to leave it there for them to use. Of course, when we arrived, Max and Nehmo were standing around the porch. What I expected was that Jaws realized what house this was. It was the same one he had lived in a hundred years ago. When they got out of the car, Jaws looked up to the house and shouted various forms of "OH MY GOD!" He started laughing and hugged Klonoa, thanking him for inviting him to live there. After that ordeal, max ran up to him and casually spoke.
"Hey guys!" He greeted. They greeted back obviously, then he continued, pointing out their bags "Hey, I'll get your suitcases and take those inside, just bring the car around back and come up front. That's yours now, just a little addition to everything else we're giving you."
"Klonoa," Jaws spoke openly, "You said something about a surprise waiting for you here?"
"That's what Tech said," Klonoa modestly replied
"Oh, there's a bit of a surprise, that's for sure!" Max answered, "Go check out the back, then come back here."
We pulled up in the driveway behind the house, Which both of the black furred kids were stunned at the astonishing decoration that was the patio that stretched behind the house to the yard on the side.
"That was not there when I lived here last," Jaws commented.
I turned off the car and told them to walk around the house. Klonoa was actually starting to get excited, I could tell he was running a few thoughts through his head of what it would be like to live out here. Reeya was still with us, but stayed mostly silent. By the time we all got to the front, things got louder.
"WHOA!" was the first exclamation from Klonoa as he saw what...or rather "who" was waiting for him. Jaws and Reeya kept smiles on their faces as they knew this was a joyful reunion.
So there stood a relatively tall, lanky golden furred wolf, and a shorter, timid looking girl.
"Hey, kid," The wolf greeted as the wide eyed and open jawed Klonoa stood in front of him.
"GUNTZ!" Was Klonoa's response as he ran up and grabbed him. Almost amusing to me, but there's no way for me to show it.
Guntz shoved Klonoa off of him, and I could easily tell he's hiding his smile when he says, "Don't EVER do that again!"
And then the girl, who did not greet him. When Klonoa finished chuckling at Guntz' response, he turned to her, and she smiled a glad, but shy smile.
"See that?" Reeya transmitted to me, obviously sharing my thoughts, "Love, the easiest emotion for me to sense from others." It was. Even without advanced telepathic powers, my ways of determining people's emotions always went clearest on "love." It's a powerful emotion, more so than hate.
Klonoa smiled a similar smile back, and they hugged tight for a while. As they let go of each other, Guntz walked up to us observers. He looked me dead in the eye first, and as we stood face to face, I could almost hear their chuckling as they realized how alike we were.
"Guntz," He simply introduced.
"Tech," Was my usual casual introduction, so I stuck with it.
"I've heard about you." These were both of our words, in the same dark tone, the same timings between each syllable, at the exact same time. In my response, I shot my eyes a little more open for a fraction of a second and cocked my head back slightly. HIs response? The exact same.
"I told you he was a lot like you!" Klonoa commented, and I remembered all the times he had described him to me.
"That's almost scary," Reeya added.
"Well," I spoke alone, "From what I've heard, you're-"
"A bounty hunter," He interrupted me, finishing my sentence, "I don't know if I'll be able to do any of that here."
"That's just it," I responded, "I've been looking for more freelance assassins to get a few jobs done. We're in need more than you know." I pulled a holo-band out of my pocket, off and gray, and gave it to him. "This is a Tower Holographic Wristband supercomputing and communication device, Lone Wolf edition. Just call it a Holo-band."
I watched as he strapped it around his wrist, pressing the center and jumping slightly at the hologram that bounced out at him, prompting him with 3 color sliders, he slid them around until he got a not-so-saturated shade of gold, then pressed a confirmation button to lock it back. He looked very interested. I walked past him to greet the girl.
"Hello," She speaks relatively quietly, "My name's Lolo."
"Nice to make your acquaintance" I replied.
"Hey!" Jaws seemed to burst in, smiling his vague smile, "I'm Jaws... I'm gonna be living here with you guys."
"Nice to meet you, Jaws," She responded politely, "I'm Lolo, I'm one of Klonoa's friends."
"Klonoa's a pretty cool kid," Jaws turned around to see Klonoa standing by Reeya as she talked to Guntz, "There's a few things I can't forgive him for, but I've gotten along with him despite that..."
"What did he do?" Lolo asked out of simple curiosity.
"My Idea," I defended, "Long story, It's really not worth telling." Jaws nodded.
I let them talk for a bit as I walked over to Guntz again, who seemed to be getting some more attention now from Max and Nehmo. Klonoa seemed to notice and ran over to Lolo to talk to her more.
"I have a boyfriend, if that's what your after," was what I first heard from Reeya as I walked up.
"Oh, I wasn't-" Guntz tried to defend himself, but cut himself off. Nehmo turned to talk to me as Guntz rambled.
"Think this guy can handle a cult? It sounds like he can't even handle a chick," He joked. I waited a few seconds to respond, only to be distracted by a loud "HEY!" and a grunt from Guntz as he bent forward, holding his stomach and stumbled toward me, falling. I caught him, helped him up as he coughed a few times, still holding his stomach.
"I never said it was bad to be flat!" He defended in between coughs, "I just said I don't like that."
"Fuck you," Reeya blankly spoke as she glared at him.
"Hey, Be glad she just punched you in the stomach," Nehmo had to comment, "I've seen her do worse to guys."
"I've never once had the urge to react like that right away," Guntz tried to regain his posture, "You're manlier than I am..."
And she responded with what Nehmo implied, and Guntz shouted as he slumped over, wincing.
"I'm sorry!" Was all he could say between breaths.
Almost amusing.
Reeya seemed pleased by this, and as she stood, her tone lightened. "I believe in second chances, Guntz. Would you like to start over?"
"Wait..." He stumbled over to the porch steps and sat down.
Nehmo went over to get a chance to talk with him.
"Ever gotten shot, hunter?"
"Yes, I have," Guntz regained his voice slowly.
"Which is worse?"
"This..."
"Hm, I would imagine being kicked in the nuts by a girl who invented her own form of martial arts would be quite painful."
"Have you ever-"
"No."
With that note, I left them to mingle with eachother, took Nehmo and Max with me, and handed this story off to the next person. But before doing so, I muttered one thing to Jaws.
"There's something there for you, too. It's inside."
And my changes took effect.
